Ingredients
Fudge Base
- 12 ounces White Chocolate Baking Chips
- 7 ounces Marshmallow Fluff
- ¼ cup Sweetened Condensed Milk
Mix-ins
- 15 Oreo Cookies
Instructions
- Prepare the baking dish: Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper to ensure easy removal of the fudge once set.
- Crush the Oreos: Place the Oreo cookies in a large plastic bag and coarsely crush them using a meat tenderizer or rolling pin, breaking them into uneven pieces for texture.
- Melt the white chocolate: Pour the white chocolate chips into a heat-safe metal or glass bowl. You can use a double boiler by placing the bowl on top of a pot with 1-2 inches of simmering water, making sure the bowl does not touch the water.
- Heat gently and stir: Turn the heat to low or medium and stir the white chocolate as it slowly melts to prevent burning.
- Add marshmallow fluff and condensed milk: Once the chocolate is melted, stir in the marshmallow fluff and the sweetened condensed milk thoroughly until smooth and well combined.
- Fold in crushed Oreos: Gently fold the crushed Oreo cookies into the fudge mixture using a spatula, ensuring even distribution without overmixing.
- Transfer to baking dish: Pour the fudge batter into the prepared baking dish and use a spatula to spread it evenly across the surface.
- Chill the fudge: Cover the dish with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator to chill for at least one hour, or for best results, chill overnight to allow it to fully set.
- Cut and serve: Once set, use a sharp knife to cut the fudge into 1 to 2-inch squares. Serve chilled and enjoy!
Notes
- Ensure the water in the double boiler is simmering gently and the bowl doesn’t touch the water to avoid scorching the white chocolate.
- Chilling overnight will produce a firmer fudge that is easier to cut.
- Store the fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator to maintain freshness.
- You can substitute Oreos with any other chocolate sandwich cookies if preferred.
- For easier cutting, dip your knife in hot water and wipe it dry between cuts.
