Description

This refreshing Strawberry Pink Drink combines tangy passion fruit tea, antioxidant-rich acai powder, and vibrant strawberries for a naturally sweet and fruity beverage. Blended with tropical mango juice and creamy coconut milk, it offers a delightful, visually stunning drink perfect for warm days or as a healthy treat any time.

Ingredients

Tea Base

  • 2 passion fruit tea bags
  • 1 teaspoon acai powder
  • 1-4 tablespoons sugar or honey (optional)
  • 2 cups unsweetened green tea
  • 2 cups water

Fruit Puree

  • 2 cups halved strawberries
  • 1 cup mango juice (can substitute pineapple or white grape juice)
  • 2 tablespoons freeze-dried strawberries (optional)

Final Assembly

  • 3/4 cup unsweetened coconut milk
  • Ice cubes (for serving)
  • 2-3 sliced fresh strawberries (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Steep the Tea: Bring 2 cups of water to a boil, then remove from heat. Add the passion fruit tea bags and acai powder, cover, and steep for 5-10 minutes to infuse the flavors. Strain the tea into a pitcher to remove the bags and powder residue.
  2. Sweeten and Blend: Stir in sugar or honey to the hot tea if using. Add 2 cups of unsweetened green tea to the mixture. In a blender, puree the halved strawberries, mango juice, and freeze-dried strawberries if using until smooth.
  3. Combine and Chill: Strain the strawberry puree into the tea mixture to remove seeds and pulp, then stir well to combine. Refrigerate the strawberry acai tea until chilled, up to one week.
  4. Prepare the Pink Drink: Fill a tall glass with ice cubes. Pour 1 1/4 cups of the chilled strawberry tea over the ice, add 3/4 cup unsweetened coconut milk, and garnish with 2-3 sliced fresh strawberries. Stir gently and enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • You can adjust sweetness based on preference by using 1-4 tablespoons of sugar or honey, or omit sweetener entirely for a natural taste.
  • The mango juice can be substituted with pineapple or white grape juice depending on availability and flavor preference.
  • Freeze-dried strawberries add extra flavor and color but are optional.
  • The strawberry acai tea keeps up to 1 week refrigerated; assemble the pink drink fresh to maintain creaminess and texture.
  • For a dairy-free and vegan option, ensure the coconut milk used is unsweetened and pure.
