Description

This Slow Cooker Gingerbread Fudge combines creamy white chocolate with warming spices like ginger, cinnamon, and cloves for a festive holiday treat. Made effortlessly in a slow cooker, this fudge is rich, smooth, and perfectly spiced, making it an excellent dessert or gift during the winter season.

Ingredients

Fudge Ingredients

  • 3 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 tbsp molasses
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan: Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper to ensure the fudge sets properly and is easy to remove.
  2. Add Ingredients to Slow Cooker: Combine the white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, unsalted butter, molasses, and all spices (ground ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg) directly into the slow cooker insert.
  3. Cook the Fudge: Cover the slow cooker and cook on the Low setting for 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes to ensure all ingredients melt evenly and blend into a smooth mixture.
  4. Pour into Pan: Once the fudge mixture is smooth and fully melted, carefully pour it into the prepared parchment-lined pan, spreading evenly.
  5. Chill the Fudge: Refrigerate the fudge in the pan for 2 to 3 hours or until it becomes firm and set.
  6. Cut into Squares: Remove the set fudge from the refrigerator and cut into 20 squares for serving.
  7. Store Properly: Place the fudge pieces in an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks to maintain freshness.

Notes

  • Make sure to stir the mixture every 30 minutes to prevent burning or sticking.
  • Use parchment paper for easy removal of fudge from the pan.
  • You can adjust the spices to taste for a more or less intense gingerbread flavor.
  • Store fudge tightly covered to avoid drying out or absorbing odors from other foods.
  • If you prefer a softer fudge, reduce chilling time slightly.
