Description
A light and airy chocolate pudding dessert layered with whipped topping, perfect for a quick and easy treat that combines creamy texture with a delightful cloud-like presentation.
Ingredients
Chocolate Pudding Layer
- 1 4-ounce package chocolate pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
Whipped Topping Layer
- 2 cups thawed Cool Whip
Instructions
- Prepare the pudding: In a bowl, mix the chocolate pudding mix with 2 cups of cold milk according to the package instructions. Stir well and allow the pudding to set for about 10 minutes until it thickens.
- Prepare the glasses: Spoon 1/3 cup of the whipped topping into each of six serving glasses. Using the back of a spoon, create a small depression in the center and spread the topping evenly around the sides of the glass to form a cloud-like base.
- Assemble and chill: Spoon the prepared chocolate pudding mixture into the center of each glass over the whipped topping. Once assembled, place the glasses in the refrigerator to chill before serving.
Notes
- For best results, use full-fat milk for a creamier pudding.
- Make sure Cool Whip is fully thawed but still chilled for easy spreading.
- This dessert is best served chilled and consumed within 2 days.
- To add a garnish, sprinkle shaved chocolate or a few chocolate chips on top before serving.
