Description

A light and airy chocolate pudding dessert layered with whipped topping, perfect for a quick and easy treat that combines creamy texture with a delightful cloud-like presentation.

Ingredients

Chocolate Pudding Layer

  • 1 4-ounce package chocolate pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk

Whipped Topping Layer

  • 2 cups thawed Cool Whip

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pudding: In a bowl, mix the chocolate pudding mix with 2 cups of cold milk according to the package instructions. Stir well and allow the pudding to set for about 10 minutes until it thickens.
  2. Prepare the glasses: Spoon 1/3 cup of the whipped topping into each of six serving glasses. Using the back of a spoon, create a small depression in the center and spread the topping evenly around the sides of the glass to form a cloud-like base.
  3. Assemble and chill: Spoon the prepared chocolate pudding mixture into the center of each glass over the whipped topping. Once assembled, place the glasses in the refrigerator to chill before serving.

Notes

  • For best results, use full-fat milk for a creamier pudding.
  • Make sure Cool Whip is fully thawed but still chilled for easy spreading.
  • This dessert is best served chilled and consumed within 2 days.
  • To add a garnish, sprinkle shaved chocolate or a few chocolate chips on top before serving.
