Description

A creamy and refreshing peach smoothie made with frozen peaches, berries, Greek yogurt, and dairy-free milk for a healthy and delicious breakfast or snack. This easy recipe is naturally sweetened by fruit and vanilla extract, with optional add-ins to boost nutrition and flavor.

Ingredients

Smoothie Ingredients

  • 1 heaping cup frozen peach slices
  • 1 cup frozen raspberries or strawberries
  • ½ cup vanilla Greek yogurt (or substitute dairy-free yogurt of choice)
  • 1 cup unsweetened dairy-free milk (almond or coconut milk recommended)
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

Garnish

  • Granola
  • Fresh raspberries or peach slices

Optional Add-ins

  • 1 tablespoon almond butter (for healthy fats)
  • 1-2 tablespoons hemp seeds
  • 1-2 cups spinach (for a greens boost)
  • 1 pitted date or honey/pure maple syrup, to taste (for added sweetness)

Instructions

  1. Add Ingredients to Blender: Place the frozen peach slices, frozen raspberries or strawberries, vanilla Greek yogurt, unsweetened dairy-free milk, and pure vanilla extract into a high-powered blender.
  2. Blend Until Smooth: Blend all ingredients on high until the mixture is smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, add more dairy-free milk a little at a time to reach your desired consistency.
  3. Adjust Sweetness: Taste the smoothie and if you prefer it sweeter, add a pitted date or a small amount of honey or pure maple syrup. Blend again until fully incorporated.
  4. Optional Nutritional Boosts: If desired, add almond butter, hemp seeds, or spinach at this point and blend again to mix thoroughly.
  5. Serve and Garnish: Pour the smoothie into a glass and garnish with granola and fresh raspberries or peach slices for texture and freshness. Enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • Add 1 tablespoon almond butter for a boost of healthy fats.
  • Add 1-2 tablespoons hemp seeds for extra protein and nutrients.
  • Add 1-2 cups spinach for a greens boost without changing the flavor much.
  • If the smoothie isn’t sweet enough, add 1 pitted date or a little honey or pure maple syrup and blend again.
  • Adjust milk quantity to achieve your preferred smoothie thickness.
