Description
Orange creamsicle cheesecake is a no bake dessert that combines the nostalgic flavor of oranges with creamy cheesecake. With a buttery graham cracker crust and a smooth orange-flavored filling, it’s refreshing, indulgent, and perfect for summer gatherings or special occasions.
Ingredients
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 16 oz cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 package (3 oz) orange gelatin mix
- 3/4 cup boiling water
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 8 oz whipped topping or homemade whipped cream
- Orange zest (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until evenly coated.
- Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust. Refrigerate while preparing the filling.
- In a separate bowl, beat softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
- Dissolve orange gelatin in boiling water, then stir in cold water. Allow to cool slightly to room temperature.
- Gradually mix the cooled gelatin into the cream cheese mixture until smooth.
- Gently fold in whipped topping until fully combined.
- Pour the filling over the chilled crust and spread evenly.
- Refrigerate for 4–6 hours, or until set.
- Garnish with whipped cream or orange zest before serving.
Notes
- Chill for at least 4 hours, but overnight gives the best results.
- Use vanilla wafers or shortbread cookies instead of graham crackers for a crust variation.
- Experiment with different gelatin flavors like lemon or strawberry.
- Store covered in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze slices for up to 2 months.
- For a lighter version, use reduced-fat cream cheese and light whipped topping.
