Description

Orange creamsicle cheesecake is a no bake dessert that combines the nostalgic flavor of oranges with creamy cheesecake. With a buttery graham cracker crust and a smooth orange-flavored filling, it’s refreshing, indulgent, and perfect for summer gatherings or special occasions.

Ingredients

  1. 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  2. 1/2 cup butter, melted
  3. 16 oz cream cheese, softened
  4. 3/4 cup sugar
  5. 1 tsp vanilla extract
  6. 1 package (3 oz) orange gelatin mix
  7. 3/4 cup boiling water
  8. 1/2 cup cold water
  9. 8 oz whipped topping or homemade whipped cream
  10. Orange zest (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs with melted butter until evenly coated.

  1. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust. Refrigerate while preparing the filling.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
  3. Dissolve orange gelatin in boiling water, then stir in cold water. Allow to cool slightly to room temperature.
  4. Gradually mix the cooled gelatin into the cream cheese mixture until smooth.
  5. Gently fold in whipped topping until fully combined.
  6. Pour the filling over the chilled crust and spread evenly.
  7. Refrigerate for 4–6 hours, or until set.
  8. Garnish with whipped cream or orange zest before serving.

Notes

  • Chill for at least 4 hours, but overnight gives the best results.
  • Use vanilla wafers or shortbread cookies instead of graham crackers for a crust variation.
  • Experiment with different gelatin flavors like lemon or strawberry.
  • Store covered in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze slices for up to 2 months.
  • For a lighter version, use reduced-fat cream cheese and light whipped topping.
