Description

This easy-to-make No Bake Nutella Fudge is a creamy, rich treat perfect for Nutella lovers. Combining smooth Nutella spread, buttery richness, and a dusting of confectioners’ sugar, this fudge is enhanced with your choice of chopped nuts and colorful sprinkles for a delightful texture and appearance. Ready in under 30 minutes with no baking involved, it’s a perfect sweet snack or gift for any occasion.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Nutella spread
  • 2 sticks unsalted butter (about 1 cup or 227 grams)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • 3-4 cups confectioners’ sugar (sifted)
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Add-ins

  • 1 cup walnuts (chopped) or 1 cup pecans (chopped) or 1 cup hazelnuts (roasted and chopped)
  • Sprinkles for topping

Instructions

  1. Prepare the tins: Line two regular muffin tins with paper cups or line a rectangular or square pan with aluminum foil, making sure to leave extra foil over the edges for easy removal of the fudge later.
  2. Melt Nutella and butter: In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the Nutella spread and unsalted butter. Microwave in 40-60 second intervals, stirring in between, until the mixture is fully melted and smooth.
  3. Add flavorings: Remove the bowl from the microwave and stir in the vanilla extract (if using) and salt until evenly incorporated.
  4. Mix in sugar and nuts: Add 3 cups of sifted confectioners’ sugar to the mixture and stir thoroughly until combined. If the fudge is still too wet or loose, gradually add additional confectioners’ sugar until you reach a fudge-like consistency. Fold in your choice of chopped nuts thoroughly.
  5. Form the fudge: Press the fudge mixture firmly into the prepared muffin tins or lined pan. Smooth the top evenly with the back of a spatula. Since the surface may look slightly oily, immediately sprinkle your decorative sprinkles on top.
  6. Chill: Refrigerate the fudge for at least 4 hours, or until it becomes firm to the touch.
  7. Store and serve: Once set, lift the fudge out from the pan or remove from muffin cups. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

  • If you don’t have paper muffin cups, lining the pan with foil is a great alternative for easy fudge removal.
  • The vanilla extract is optional but adds a nice depth of flavor.
  • Adjust the amount of confectioners’ sugar according to how firm or soft you like your fudge.
  • Try different nuts for varied flavors; roasted hazelnuts add a wonderful nuttiness.
  • For a smoother texture, be sure to sift the confectioners’ sugar before adding.
  • Store the fudge cold to maintain firmness and freshness.
