Instructions
- Preheat and Prepare Pan: Preheat your oven to 350ºF (175ºC). Lightly spray a 9×5 inch loaf pan with cooking spray to prevent sticking and set it aside.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the white whole wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, and kosher salt until evenly combined.
- Prepare Fruit Mixture: In another bowl, mash the ripe bananas and ripe avocado thoroughly using the back of a fork until you achieve a smooth, pureed consistency.
- Combine Wet Ingredients: Add sugar, milk, vanilla extract, and eggs into the banana and avocado mixture. Whisk these together until the mixture is fully blended and smooth.
- Incorporate Dry Ingredients: Gradually fold the dry flour mixture into the wet banana-avocado mixture. Stir gently until the batter is smooth and free of lumps.
- Add Chocolate Chips: Fold in the mini chocolate chips evenly throughout the batter, distributing them well.
- Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake in the preheated oven for approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. To check doneness, insert a toothpick into the center; it should come out clean or with just a few crumbs attached.
- Cool and Serve: Allow the bread to cool in the pan until it is just warm enough to handle, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely. Once cooled, slice and enjoy your moist, flavorful bread.
