Description

Decadent and easy-to-make Brownie Sundaes layered with rich brownie chunks, creamy vanilla ice cream, warm caramel and hot fudge sauces, and fresh strawberry slices. Perfect for a quick indulgent dessert for two.

Ingredients

Brownie Sundae Ingredients

  • 2 big squares of your favorite brownies (homemade or store-bought)
  • Hot fudge sauce, about 2-3 tablespoons (recommended: Sanders brand)
  • Warm caramel sauce, about 2-3 tablespoons (recommended: Sanders brand)
  • 4 small scoops of vanilla ice cream (or any flavor you prefer)
  • 6-8 slices of fresh strawberries

Instructions

  1. Prepare Brownie Pieces: Break the brownies into small bite-sized pieces to make layering easier and more enjoyable.
  2. First Layer Setup: Place half of the brownie pieces evenly into the bottom of two wide serving glasses. Drizzle each with hot fudge and/or warm caramel sauce as desired to add rich flavor.
  3. Add Strawberries and Ice Cream: Place 2-3 slices of strawberries over the brownie layer, then add 2 small scoops of vanilla ice cream on top, creating a beautiful layered effect.
  4. Repeat Layers: Add remaining brownie pieces on top of the ice cream, followed by additional drizzles of hot fudge and caramel sauces, more strawberry slices, and then the second set of 2 small scoops of ice cream.
  5. Final Garnish: Finish off the sundae with a few more drizzles of fudge and/or caramel sauce along with extra strawberry slices for a visually appealing and delicious topping.

Notes

  • Use good quality brownies for the best flavor, either homemade or premium store-bought.
  • Warm the caramel sauce slightly before drizzling to enhance its flow and flavor.
  • You can customize the sundae by substituting the vanilla ice cream with any favorite flavor.
  • Serve immediately after assembling to prevent the ice cream from melting too much.
  • For added texture, consider sprinkling chopped nuts or crushed cookies as a topping.
