Description

Ingredients

  2. 2 teaspoons baking powder
  3. 1/2 teaspoon salt

  6. 3 large eggs
  7. 1/2 cup vegetable oil (or melted butter)
  8. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch round or loaf pan, or line it with parchment paper.

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In a large bowl, mix yogurt, sugar, eggs, oil, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  5. Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
