Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 1 green bell pepper, diced
- 1 stalk celery, chopped
- 1 (28 oz) can diced tomatoes
- 1 (10 oz) can diced tomatoes with green chilies
- 1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
- 1 (15 oz) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 (15 oz) can pinto beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp sugar
Instructions
In a large pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
2️⃣ Add onion, green bell pepper, and celery. Cook for 5 minutes until softened.
3️⃣ Stir in diced tomatoes, diced tomatoes with green chilies, tomato sauce, and water.
4️⃣ Add kidney beans, pinto beans, chili powder, cumin, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and sugar. Stir well.
5️⃣ Bring to a simmer, then reduce heat to low. Cover and let cook for at least 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
6️⃣ Serve hot and enjoy!
