Description

Ingredients

    2 tablespoons fresh lime juice (about 1 lime)

Instructions

Blend the Watermelon: Place the cubed watermelon into a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth, adding water as needed to adjust consistency.

  1. Add Lime and Sweetener: Add lime juice and honey (or agave syrup). Blend again until well combined and adjust sweetness to taste.
  2. Freeze the Mixture: Pour the watermelon mixture into a shallow dish and freeze for 1 hour.
  3. Create the Granita Texture: After the first hour, use a fork to scrape the mixture. Freeze again for 30-minute intervals for 3-4 hours, scraping after each interval.
  4. Serve: Fluff the granita one last time with a fork, spoon into glasses, and garnish with mint or lime wedge if desired.
