Ingredients
1 lb ground turkey
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
Salt and pepper, to taste
8 large lettuce leaves (romaine or iceberg works well)
1/2 cup shredded cheese (optional)
1 tomato, sliced
1 avocado, sliced
1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
Pickles (optional)
Your favorite condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayo, etc.)
Instructions
-
Preheat Grill or Skillet: Preheat a grill or skillet over medium heat and brush with olive oil.
 -
Prepare the Turkey Patties: In a bowl, mix the ground turkey with garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper. Form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.
 -
Cook the Patties: Place the patties on the grill or skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the burgers are fully cooked through.
 -
Prepare the Lettuce Wraps: While the patties are cooking, carefully separate the lettuce leaves, ensuring they are large enough to wrap around the turkey burgers.
 -
Assemble the Wraps: Once the burgers are cooked, place each patty on a lettuce leaf. Top with shredded cheese (if using), tomato slices, avocado, red onion, pickles, and your favorite condiments.
 -
Serve: Wrap the lettuce around the burger and enjoy!
