Description

Ingredients

  1. 4 large flour tortillas
    1 lb ground beef or turkey
    1 packet taco seasoning mix
    1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
    1/2 cup salsa
    1/4 cup chopped green onions
    1/4 cup chopped cilantro (optional)
    Sour cream and guacamole for serving (optional)

Instructions

In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef or turkey until browned. Drain excess fat.

  1. Add taco seasoning and water according to package instructions. Simmer until thickened and flavorful. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  2. Lay tortillas flat and spread a thin layer of salsa evenly over each.
  3. Distribute cooked taco meat evenly over tortillas.
  4. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese, green onions, and cilantro over the meat.
  5. Roll up each tortilla tightly and wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
