Ingredients
- 4 large flour tortillas
1 lb ground beef or turkey
1 packet taco seasoning mix
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup salsa
1/4 cup chopped green onions
1/4 cup chopped cilantro (optional)
Sour cream and guacamole for serving (optional)
Instructions
In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef or turkey until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning and water according to package instructions. Simmer until thickened and flavorful. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
 - Lay tortillas flat and spread a thin layer of salsa evenly over each.
 - Distribute cooked taco meat evenly over tortillas.
 - Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese, green onions, and cilantro over the meat.
 - Roll up each tortilla tightly and wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
 - Remove plastic wrap and slice each roll into 1-inch pinwheels.
 - Arrange on a serving platter and serve with sour cream and guacamole if desired.

Notes
- Use corn tortillas for a gluten-free option.
 - Add black beans or corn to the meat mixture for extra texture.
 - Substitute cheddar with pepper jack or Monterey Jack cheese.
 - Add diced jalapeños for extra heat.
 - Use shredded rotisserie chicken instead of ground meat for a twist.
