Description

Strawberry Jello Pie is a refreshing, no-bake dessert featuring a strawberry Jello filling with fresh strawberries on top, nestled in a buttery graham cracker crust.

Ingredients

  1. 1 pre-made graham cracker crust (or homemade, if preferred)
2 tablespoons butter, melted (if using a homemade crust)
    1 package (3 oz) strawberry Jell-O
    1 cup boiling water
    1 cup cold water
1 ½ cups fresh strawberries, hulled and chopped
1 cup whipped topping (such as Cool Whip)
Extra whipped topping (optional, for garnish)
Sliced fresh strawberries (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

In a medium bowl, combine the strawberry Jell-O powder with 1 cup of boiling water. Stir until the Jell-O is completely dissolved.

  1. Stir in 1 cup of cold water and mix well. Let the Jell-O mixture sit at room temperature for about 10-15 minutes, or until it begins to thicken slightly.
  2. Once the Jell-O mixture has cooled slightly, fold in the chopped fresh strawberries, mixing gently so they are evenly distributed.
  3. Fold in 1 cup of whipped topping to create a creamy, fluffy texture, mixing until smooth.
  4. Pour the Jell-O mixture into the pre-made graham cracker crust, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  5. Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow it to fully set.
  6. Before serving, top the pie with extra whipped topping and garnish with fresh strawberry slices, if desired.
  7. Slice the pie, serve chilled, and enjoy!

Notes

  • If using frozen strawberries, be sure to thaw and drain them to avoid excess liquid.
  • For a different flavor, you can use other fruit-flavored Jell-O, such as raspberry, blueberry, or peach, and adjust the fruit accordingly.
  • If you prefer a creamier pie, you can add a layer of sweetened cream cheese before adding the Jell-O filling.
  • This pie is perfect for make-ahead preparations, as it keeps well in the fridge for several days.
