Description

A festive and delicious Strawberry Crunch Party Mix combining crunchy Chex mix with sweet strawberry crumbles, white chocolate, powdered sugar, freeze-dried strawberries, and colorful Valentine’s sprinkles and candy-coated chocolates. Perfect for parties and sharing with friends and family.

Ingredients

Mix Ingredients

  • 1 Package of Strawberry Crunch Crumbles
  • 1/2 Cup of Powdered Sugar
  • 12 Ounces of Traditional Chex Mix
  • 1/2 Cup of Red and Pink Candy Coated Chocolates
  • 6 Ounces of White Melting Chocolate
  • 1 Cup of Freeze Dried Strawberries
  • Valentine Sprinkle Mix (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Prepare Freeze Dried Strawberries: Grind the freeze-dried strawberries using a coffee grinder or blender, or smash them inside of a Ziplock bag until finely crushed.
  2. Mix Strawberry Sugar: Combine the ground freeze-dried strawberries with the powdered sugar in a separate Ziplock bag and mix thoroughly.
  3. Prepare Crunch Crumbles: Place the strawberry shortcake crunch crumbles into another Ziplock bag.
  4. Melt White Chocolate: Place the white candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl and melt in 30-second intervals, stirring between each until the chocolate is smooth and completely melted.
  5. Coat Chex Mix in Chocolate: Pour 10 ounces of the Chex mix into the melted white chocolate bowl, mix well with a spatula ensuring all pieces are fully coated.
  6. Divide and Coat: Scoop half of the chocolate-coated Chex mix into the bag with the strawberry crunch crumbles, and place the other half into the powdered sugar and freeze-dried strawberry mixture.
  7. Shake to Coat: Seal each Ziplock bag tightly and shake vigorously to coat all the Chex mix pieces evenly with the coatings.
  8. Dry the Mix: Spread both coated Chex mixes onto a parchment-lined cookie sheet to dry completely.
  9. Add Uncovered Mix: Once dried, add the remaining uncovered Chex mix into the bowl with the coated mix.
  10. Decorate: Sprinkle Valentine-themed sprinkles and the red and pink candy-coated chocolates over the finished strawberry shortcake Chex mix as garnish and for extra sweetness and color.
