Description
The Spicy Mushroom Wrap is a flavorful and satisfying breakfast wrap combining sautéed mushrooms with spicy seasonings, fresh veggies, and optional cheese, perfect for a quick and nutritious morning meal.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cups sliced mushrooms (cremini or button)
1 small onion, thinly sliced
1 garlic clove, minced
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
Salt and black pepper to taste
2 large whole wheat or flour tortillas
1/2 cup fresh spinach or mixed greens
1/4 cup shredded cheese (optional)
Salsa or hot sauce (optional) 
Instructions
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add mushrooms and onions; sauté until mushrooms release moisture and onions soften, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in garlic, chili powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Cook 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
 - Warm tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until pliable.
 - Divide mushroom mixture between tortillas. Top with spinach, cheese (if using), and salsa or hot sauce if desired.
 - Fold sides and roll tortillas tightly. Slice in half if preferred and serve immediately.
