Description

Pistachio Fluff, also known as Watergate Salad, is a creamy, fruity, and nutty no-bake dessert made with pistachio pudding, crushed pineapple, whipped topping, mini marshmallows, and chopped nuts. It’s light, refreshing, and perfect for holidays or gatherings.


Ingredients

  1. 1 package (3.4 oz) instant pistachio pudding mix
  2. 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple with juice
  3. 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping (such as Cool Whip), thawed
  4. 2 cups mini marshmallows
  5. ½ cup chopped nuts (pecans, walnuts, or pistachios)

Instructions

In a large bowl, combine pistachio pudding mix with crushed pineapple and juice. Stir until well blended.

  1. Fold in whipped topping until mixture is smooth and fluffy.
  2. Add mini marshmallows and chopped nuts, stirring gently to combine.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set.
  4. Stir gently before serving and garnish with extra nuts or whipped topping, if desired.

Notes

  1. Best when chilled for several hours before serving.
  2. Can add shredded coconut, maraschino cherries, or colored marshmallows for variation.
