Ingredients
- 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, with juice
 - 1 cup granulated sugar
 - 1 cup all-purpose flour
 - 2 tsp baking powder
 - 1/4 tsp salt
 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
 - 8 oz cream cheese, softened
 - 1 cup milk
 - 1 tsp vanilla extract
 - Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Spread crushed pineapple evenly in the bottom of the dish. Do not drain.
 - In a bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in milk, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.

 - Drop spoonfuls of softened cream cheese over the batter.
 - Bake for 40–45 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly around the edges.
 - Cool slightly before serving. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.

Notes
- Do not drain the pineapple; the juice adds moisture.
 - Use softened cream cheese for best texture.
 - Can be served warm, room temperature, or chilled.
 - Pairs wonderfully with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
 - Can be frozen for up to 2 months.
