Description

Pecan Pie Crescents are a quick, handheld twist on classic pecan pie, made with refrigerated crescent dough and filled with a sweet, nutty mixture of pecans, brown sugar, and butter. Perfect for holidays, parties, or easy snacking.


Ingredients

  1. 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  2. 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  3. 1/3 cup brown sugar
  4. 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  5. 1 tsp vanilla extract
  6. 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
  7. Pinch of salt

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  1. In a bowl, combine chopped pecans, brown sugar, melted butter, vanilla, salt, and cinnamon (if using). Stir well.
  2. Unroll crescent dough and separate into 8 triangles.
  3. Spoon a small amount of pecan mixture onto the wide end of each triangle.
  4. Roll up triangles from the wide end, tucking in filling as needed.
  5. Place crescents on prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake 10–12 minutes, until golden brown.
  7. Cool slightly before serving. Optional: drizzle with extra melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.

Notes

  1. Do not overfill to prevent leakage.
  2. Toast pecans beforehand for deeper flavor.
  3. Add chocolate chips or cream cheese for fun variations.
  4. Best served warm but also tasty at room temperature.
  5. Drizzle with glaze or caramel for extra sweetness.
