Description

Peach Cobbler Egg Rolls are crispy, golden wrappers filled with sweet, spiced peach filling, perfect for dipping in vanilla glaze or enjoying on their own.


Ingredients

  1. 2 cups peaches (fresh, frozen, or canned—drained and chopped)
  2. 2 tbsp butter
  3. 1/4 cup white sugar
  4. 1/4 cup brown sugar
  5. 1 tbsp cornstarch
  6. 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  7. 1 tsp vanilla extract
  8. 812 egg roll wrappers
  9. Water (for sealing)
  10. Oil for frying (or spray for air-frying)
  11. Optional: cinnamon-sugar or powdered sugar
  12. Vanilla glaze (optional dip): 1/2 cup powdered sugar, 1–2 tbsp milk, 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

Make the filling: In a saucepan, combine peaches, butter, sugars, cinnamon, and vanilla. Bring to a simmer.

  1. Mix cornstarch with 2–3 tsp water to form a slurry. Stir into peach mixture until thickened. Remove from heat and cool.
  2. Assemble rolls: Place 1–2 tbsp cooled filling in center of each wrapper. Brush edges with water, fold sides in, and roll tightly.
  3. Cook: For deep-frying, heat oil to 350°F and fry until golden (about 2–3 min per side). For air-frying, spray with oil and cook at 375°F, flipping halfway, until golden.
  4. Serve: Dust with cinnamon-sugar or powdered sugar, and serve with optional vanilla glaze.

Notes

  1. Drain peaches well to prevent soggy wrappers.
  2. Don’t overfill—this helps avoid bursting during cooking.
  3. For vegan rolls, use plant-based butter and milk.
  4. Cool on a wire rack after cooking to keep crispy.
