Description

These Oreo Cheesecake Cones are a delightful and fun twist on classic cheesecake, combining creamy cheesecake filling with crunchy Oreos served in a sugar cone. Perfect for parties or a sweet treat, these no-bake dessert cones are easy to prepare and visually impressive.

Ingredients

For the Cheesecake Filling

  • 12 Sugar Ice Cream Cones
  • 16 oz Cream Cheese, softened
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 8 oz package Cool Whip
  • ½ cup Oreos, crushed

For the Glaze and Topping

  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • ¼ cup Milk
  • 6 Oreos, cut in half
  • Additional crushed Oreo pieces for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cheesecake Filling: In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine the softened cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract. Cream the mixture until it is smooth and well combined.
  2. Fold in Cool Whip: Gently fold in the Cool Whip until the mixture is thoroughly combined and fluffy.
  3. Add Crushed Oreos: Fold the crushed Oreo pieces into the cheesecake filling until evenly distributed.
  4. Transfer to Piping Bag: Spoon the cheesecake filling into a piping bag and set aside, ready for assembly.
  5. Make the Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar and milk until smooth. Set aside.
  6. Assemble the Cones: Pipe a generous dollop of cheesecake filling into each sugar cone.
  7. Add Oreo Halves: Insert one half of an Oreo cookie on top of the filling in each cone, pressing slightly to stick it in place.
  8. Drizzle with Glaze: Drizzle each cone with the prepared glaze.
  9. Garnish: Immediately sprinkle the cones with additional crushed Oreo pieces to finish.
  10. Chill: Store the finished cones covered in the refrigerator until ready to serve, allowing the filling to firm up slightly.

Notes

  • Be sure the cream cheese is softened to room temperature for easy mixing and smooth texture.
  • Use a piping bag to effortlessly fill the cones and create a neat presentation.
  • Keep cones refrigerated to maintain firmness and freshness before serving.
  • For a dairy-free option, substitute cream cheese and Cool Whip with suitable vegan alternatives.
  • To prevent cones from becoming soggy, fill them just before serving.
