Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 cartons (32 ounces each) reduced-sodium beef broth
2 cans (14.5 ounces each) diced tomatoes with green pepper, celery, and onion, undrained
1 teaspoon dried basil
½ teaspoon dried oregano
½ teaspoon pepper
¼ teaspoon salt
3 cups uncooked bow tie pasta
4 cups fresh spinach, coarsely chopped

Instructions
- In a 6-quart stockpot, cook the ground beef and minced garlic over medium heat until the meat is no longer pink, about 6–8 minutes. Break the beef into crumbles as it cooks; drain excess fat.
- Stir in the beef broth, diced tomatoes (with their juices), dried basil, dried oregano, pepper, and salt. Bring the mixture to a boil.
- Add the uncooked bow tie pasta to the pot. Return to a boil and cook, uncovered, until the pasta is tender, approximately 7–9 minutes.
- Stir in the chopped fresh spinach and cook until wilted.
