Ingredients

- ¾ cup ricotta cheese

- Salt and pepper, to taste
- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 tsp lemon zest (optional)
Instructions
- Toast the Bread – Lightly brush bread slices with olive oil and toast in a skillet or bake at 375°F (190°C) for 5-7 minutes until golden and crisp.
- Sauté the Mushrooms – Heat a pan over medium heat with olive oil or butter. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
- Add Garlic and Herbs – Stir in minced garlic, salt, pepper, and fresh thyme. Cook for another minute until fragrant.
