Description

This Mint Lemonade Recipe is a zesty, refreshing beverage made with fresh lemon juice and cooling mint—perfect for hot summer days, parties, or any time you need a revitalizing drink. Naturally vegan, gluten-free, and easily customizable, this all-natural homemade lemonade is both energizing and easy to make in just minutes!

Ingredients

Freshly squeezed lemon juice (from about 4–6 lemons)

1 cup fresh mint leaves (loosely packed)

4 cups cold water (divided)

1/3 to 1/2 cup sugar (or sweetener of choice, to taste)

Ice cubes

Optional: Lemon slices and extra mint sprigs for garnish

Instructions

  • In a blender, combine fresh lemon juice, mint leaves, sugar, and 2 cups of water.

  • Blend until mint is finely chopped and the mixture is smooth.

  • Strain through a fine mesh sieve if a smoother texture is preferred.

  • Pour the mixture into a pitcher and add the remaining 2 cups of cold water.

  • Stir well and chill if desired.

  • Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices and mint sprigs.

Notes

  • For a sparkling version, replace some water with club soda.

  • Blend with ice for a slushy texture.

  • Swap sugar with honey, maple syrup, or agave for a natural sweetener.

  • Add cucumber slices or watermelon for a fresh twist.

  • A pinch of ginger or cayenne can add a spicy edge.

  • Freeze leftovers into popsicle molds for a fun frozen treat.
