Description

This refreshing Iced Lavender Cream Oat Milk Matcha combines the floral sweetness of lavender syrup with the rich, creamy texture of oat milk and a delicate frothy top made from heavy cream and milk. A perfect Starbucks-inspired drink, it’s lightly sweetened with vanilla syrup and matched with vibrant green matcha for an elegant and invigorating beverage.

Ingredients

Lavender Cold Foam

  • 2 tbsp heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp whole milk
  • 1 tbsp lavender syrup
  • 1-2 drops purple food coloring (optional)

Matcha Mixture

  • 2 tsp pure matcha powder
  • 3 tbsp hot water

Main Drink

  • 1 ½ cups oat milk
  • 3 tbsp vanilla syrup
  • Ice, as needed

Instructions

  1. Make the lavender cold foam: In a small jar or container, combine the heavy cream, whole milk, lavender syrup, and purple food coloring if using. Use a milk frother to froth the mixture for 10 to 20 seconds until it’s well combined and creamy. Set aside to use as a topping.
  2. Prepare the matcha: Heat the water in a microwave-safe jar or glass until boiling (about 30-45 seconds). Sift the matcha powder into the hot water to remove clumps, then whisk vigorously until smooth and slightly foamy. Set aside.
  3. Assemble the drink: Fill a tall glass with ice cubes. Pour in the oat milk followed by the vanilla syrup; stir well to combine. Add the prepared matcha mixture to the glass and stir again gently.
  4. Finish and serve: Top the iced matcha drink with the prepared lavender cold foam. Serve immediately and enjoy the creamy, floral, and refreshing flavors.

Notes

  • Use high-quality matcha powder for the best flavor and a smooth texture.
  • Adjust the amount of lavender syrup to your taste for a sweeter or more subtle floral note.
  • The purple food coloring is optional and purely for aesthetic appeal.
  • This recipe can be made dairy-free by substituting heavy cream and milk with coconut cream or a thick oat cream alternative.
  • For a stronger matcha flavor, increase the matcha powder to 3 teaspoons.
