Description

This rich and creamy Heath Toffee Fudge combines smooth milk chocolate, buttery marshmallow fluff, and sweetened condensed milk with crunchy Heath candy bits for a delightful treat. Perfect for holidays or whenever you crave a decadent, homemade fudge that’s easy to make with simple ingredients.

Ingredients

Fudge Base

  • 12 oz milk chocolate chips
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 7 oz container of marshmallow fluff
  • 7 oz can of sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Mix-Ins and Topping

  • Heath candy bits (about 1 cup, divided)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan: Line an 8-inch by 8-inch baking pan with parchment paper and lightly grease it to ensure the fudge releases easily once set.
  2. Melt Chocolate and Butter: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the milk chocolate chips and butter. Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring thoroughly between each, until the mixture is smooth and fully melted.
  3. Add Marshmallow Fluff and Condensed Milk: Stir in the marshmallow fluff, sweetened condensed milk, and vanilla extract until all ingredients are well incorporated and the mixture is smooth.
  4. Mix Heath Candy Bits: Fold in the majority of the Heath candy bits, reserving some for topping, making sure they are evenly distributed throughout the fudge base.
  5. Pour and Smooth: Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking pan. Use a spoon or knife to spread and smooth the surface. Sprinkle the reserved Heath candy bits evenly over the top.
  6. Chill: Refrigerate the fudge overnight or for at least 8 hours, allowing it to set properly.
  7. Cut into Pieces: Remove the set fudge from the pan using the parchment paper. Cut into a 5 by 5 grid to yield 25 uniform pieces.
  8. Storage: Store the fudge pieces in an airtight container in the refrigerator to maintain freshness and texture.

Notes

  • Make sure to stir the chocolate and butter mixture thoroughly during melting to prevent burning.
  • Use full-fat sweetened condensed milk for the creamiest texture.
  • You can substitute Heath candy bits with any favorite toffee or crunchy candy for variation.
  • Allow the fudge to fully set in the refrigerator for best slicing results.
  • Keep fudge refrigerated and consume within 1 week for optimal freshness.
