Ingredients
- 4 lobster tails
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Using kitchen shears, cut the top of each lobster tail shell lengthwise, exposing the meat. Pull the lobster meat slightly out of the shell but keep it attached at the base.
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the lobster meat with the butter mixture, reserving a little for basting while grilling.
- Place the lobster tails on the grill, flesh side down. Grill for 5-6 minutes.
- Flip the lobster tails and continue grilling for another 3-4 minutes, basting with the remaining butter sauce as needed. The lobster meat should be opaque and firm when done.
- Remove from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes. Garnish with parsley and serve.
Notes
- You can substitute the butter with olive oil for a lighter option.
- Add cayenne pepper or chili flakes to the butter mixture for a spicy twist.
- If using frozen lobster tails, thaw them thoroughly before grilling.
