Ingredients

8 chicken drumsticks (skin-on)

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 tablespoon soy sauce

2 teaspoons garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon dried thyme (optional)


Instructions

  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

  • In a large bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, pepper, and thyme (if using).

  • Add the chicken drumsticks to the bowl and toss to coat evenly. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.

  • Place the chicken on the preheated grill, cooking for 25-30 minutes. Turn the chicken every 5-7 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F and the skin is golden brown and crispy.
