Ingredients
2 slices of bread (white, whole wheat, or sourdough)
2 tablespoons butter (softened)
2 slices of cheese (cheddar, American, or your preferred cheese)
Instructions

Preheat a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat.

Butter one side of each slice of bread evenly to ensure a crispy finish.

Place one slice of bread, buttered side down, onto the skillet.

Place the slices of cheese on top of the bread, then cover with the second slice of bread, buttered side up.

Grill for 3-4 minutes, or until the bottom is golden brown and crispy.

Flip the sandwich and grill for another 3-4 minutes, until the second side is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
