Description

Garlic Butter Chicken Bites are a quick, flavorful, and satisfying meal made with juicy bite-sized chicken pieces coated in a rich garlic butter sauce. Perfect as a weeknight dinner, appetizer, or party snack, these chicken bites are crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and bursting with savory garlic-herb flavor. Ready in under 30 minutes, they pair wonderfully with veggies, rice, pasta, or salad and are naturally gluten-free!

Ingredients

1 lb chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces

2 tbsp olive oil

3 tbsp unsalted butter

4 garlic cloves, minced

1 tsp dried oregano

1 tsp dried thyme

½ tsp salt (or to taste)

¼ tsp black pepper

¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Juice of ½ lemon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat Oil: In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil.

  2. Cook Chicken: Add chicken pieces to the skillet. Season with salt, pepper, oregano, thyme, and red pepper flakes (if using). Cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden and cooked through.

  3. Add Garlic Butter: Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic to the pan. Stir well and cook for 1–2 minutes until garlic is fragrant and butter is melted.

  4. Finish with Lemon: Add lemon juice (optional) and mix to coat the chicken evenly.

  5. Garnish & Serve: Remove from heat, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve warm.

Notes

  • Protein Swap: Use shrimp or tofu for a different twist.

  • Add Veggies: Toss in spinach, zucchini, or bell peppers for extra nutrition.

  • Make it Cheesy: Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese just before serving for added flavor.

  • Spicy Option: Add a dash of cayenne or sriracha for heat.
