Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup chocolate or vanilla protein powder
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 cup almond butter or peanut butter
1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2–3 tablespoons almond milk or milk of choice
1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine oats, protein powder, and cocoa powder.
- Add almond butter, honey, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
- Gradually add almond milk, one tablespoon at a time, until the mixture holds together but isn’t too sticky.
- Fold in mini chocolate chips if using.
- Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls with your hands.
- Place the balls on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
- Store protein balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
