Description
Homemade fruit roll-ups are a healthy, customizable snack made with real fruit. These sweet, tangy treats are perfect for kids and adults alike and are free from artificial colors and preservatives.
Ingredients
- 2 cups of fresh or frozen fruit (such as strawberries, mangoes, or mixed berries)
 - 1-2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional, depending on your desired sweetness)
 - 1 teaspoon lemon juice
 - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions
Preheat your oven to 170°F (77°C) or the lowest temperature your oven can go.
- In a blender or food processor, combine the fruit, honey or maple syrup (if using), lemon juice, and vanilla extract (if using). Blend until smooth.
 - Pour the fruit puree onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Use a spatula to spread it out into an even layer, about 1/8-inch thick.
 - Place the baking sheet in the oven and let it dry for 4-6 hours, or until the fruit leather is no longer sticky to the touch. Check periodically to make sure it’s not getting too hard.
 - Once done, remove the sheet from the oven and let it cool completely.
 - Once cooled, cut the fruit leather into strips using kitchen scissors or a sharp knife. Roll them up and wrap them in parchment paper or plastic wrap for storage.

Notes
- For tropical fruit roll-ups, try using mango, pineapple, and coconut milk for a unique flavor.
 - If you prefer a berry-citrus flavor, blend strawberries, blueberries, and orange juice.
 - You can add spices like cinnamon or ginger for an extra flavor twist.
 - These fruit roll-ups can be stored in an airtight container for up to 1-2 weeks at room temperature or refrigerated for up to 3 weeks.
