Ingredients
Fruit & Yogurt
- 3-4 cups ripe but firm banana slices
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
Sweeteners & Flavorings
- 1-4 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (adjust for sweetness)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Optional Add-ins
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter (optional)
Chocolate Coating
- 12 ounces semi-sweet or dark chocolate, chopped
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
Garnish
- Flaky sea salt (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the clusters: Line a cupcake mold with paper liners to hold the clusters securely. In a mixing bowl, combine the plain Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Add the banana slices to the mixture and gently toss them so each slice is coated evenly. If using, stir in the creamy peanut butter for extra flavor and creaminess. Scoop about 3 banana slices per spoonful and place each portion into the lined cupcake molds.
- Freeze the yogurt banana mixture: Place the molds in the freezer and allow the banana yogurt clusters to freeze for 1 to 2 hours until firm enough to handle for dipping.
- Melt the chocolate coating: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chopped semi-sweet or dark chocolate with the coconut oil. Heat in the microwave in short bursts (20-30 seconds), stirring in between until the mixture is completely melted, smooth, and glossy.
- Dip and coat the frozen clusters: Remove the clusters from the freezer. Using a fork or dipping tool, submerge each frozen cluster into the melted chocolate, fully coating it. Transfer the chocolate-coated clusters onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Add finishing touches and freeze: Immediately sprinkle the clusters with flaky sea salt if desired to enhance flavor. Return the clusters to the freezer and let them freeze for an additional 2 hours or until the chocolate is fully set and hardened.
- Serve and enjoy: Remove the clusters from the freezer, allow them to rest for 2-3 minutes at room temperature to soften slightly, then serve. Enjoy this refreshing and healthy frozen treat!

- The amount of honey or maple syrup can be adjusted based on your preferred sweetness.
- Peanut butter adds richness and protein but can be omitted for a simpler flavor.
- Flaky sea salt is optional but adds a pleasant contrast to the sweet chocolate.
