Decadent Passion Fruit Tiramisu is a tropical twist on the classic Italian dessert. Creamy mascarpone layers are combined with the bright, tangy flavor of passion fruit, creating a refreshing and indulgent treat.
Ingredients
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup passion fruit pulp (from fresh passion fruit or store-bought pulp)
- 1/4 cup orange juice (freshly squeezed is ideal)
- 1 tablespoon sugar (optional, depending on sweetness of passion fruit)
- 24 ladyfinger cookies

- Fresh passion fruit pulp or zest for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Prepare the Passion Fruit Syrup: In a small bowl, combine passion fruit pulp, orange juice, and sugar (if using). Stir to combine and set aside.
- Make the Mascarpone Filling: In a mixing bowl, beat the mascarpone cheese until smooth and creamy. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, and continue to beat until fully combined.
- Whip the Cream: In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
- Assemble the Tiramisu: Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the passion fruit syrup, then lay them in the bottom of a 9×9-inch dish. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers. Repeat with another layer of soaked ladyfingers, followed by the remaining mascarpone mixture.
- Chill: Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow flavors to meld.
- Garnish and Serve: Dust with cocoa powder and garnish with fresh passion fruit pulp or zest before serving.
Notes
- Add melted chocolate between layers of mascarpone for a chocolatey twist.
- For a non-alcoholic version, omit any liqueurs traditionally used in tiramisu and soak ladyfingers entirely in passion fruit syrup.
