Perfect as an appetizer, light lunch, or weeknight dinner, these bites are crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. With options to cook them in a pan, oven, or air fryer, they are versatile and quick to make, ensuring they’re the star of any meal.

Ingredients

1 pound salmon fillets, skin removed

1 tablespoon olive oil

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon smoked paprika

¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

Salt and black pepper to taste

¼ cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons Thai sweet chili sauce

1 teaspoon sriracha

1 teaspoon honey

½ teaspoon lime juice

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Salmon: Cut salmon into 1-inch cubes and toss with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and black pepper.

  2. Cook the Salmon:

    • Pan-searing: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook salmon cubes for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown.

    • Baking: Preheat oven to 400°F. Arrange salmon cubes on a lined baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.

    • Air frying: Preheat the air fryer to 375°F and cook salmon for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through.

  3. Prepare the Sauce: Whisk together mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, sriracha, honey, and lime juice in a bowl.

  4. Coat the Salmon: Toss the cooked salmon cubes in the prepared sauce or drizzle the sauce over them.

  5. Serve and Garnish: Sprinkle fresh herbs or sesame seeds on top for added flavor and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For extra sweetness, adjust the honey to taste.

  • You can substitute the mayonnaise with a dairy-free or vegan alternative, such as avocado or coconut yogurt.

  • For a more intense flavor, try adding a pinch of cinnamon or ginger to the sauce.

  • Air frying is a healthier alternative to pan-frying with the same crispy texture.
