  • Steak (such as ribeye, sirloin, or flank steak)
  • Olive oil
  • Garlic
  • Heavy cream
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Pasta (such as fettuccine, penne, or spaghetti)
  • Salt and pepper
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)
  • Optional: Red pepper flakes (for a spicy kick)

Notes

  • Cook the Pasta – Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Cook the Steak – Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steak with salt and pepper, then cook it for 3-4 minutes per side (or to your desired level of doneness). Remove from the skillet, let it rest for a few minutes, then slice thinly against the grain.
  • Make the Creamy Sauce – In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute, until fragrant. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and cook until the sauce thickens slightly, about 3-5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Combine – Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss it in the creamy sauce until well coated.
  • Serve – Plate the pasta and top with the sliced steak. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese. If you like a bit of heat, sprinkle red pepper flakes over the top.
