A creamy and indulgent-tasting overnight oats recipe that mimics cookie dough flavor while being nourishing and wholesome. Packed with oats, nut butter, and chocolate chips, it’s a perfect make-ahead breakfast.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk (or milk of choice)
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1–2 tsp maple syrup or agave (to taste)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 tbsp nut butter (peanut, almond, or cashew)
- 1 1/2 tbsp mini dark chocolate chips
- Pinch of salt
- 1 scoop plant-based protein powder (optional)
Instructions
In a mason jar or bowl, combine rolled oats, chia seeds, and a pinch of salt.
- Stir in almond milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and nut butter until fully mixed.
- Add chocolate chips and optional protein powder, stirring to incorporate.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- In the morning, stir well. Add a splash of milk if needed to loosen the texture.
- Top with extra chocolate chips or a drizzle of nut butter before serving if desired.

- Use sunflower seed butter for a nut-free variation.
