Description

Cookie Dough Croissants are a delicious, easy-to-make dessert combining flaky croissants with gooey cookie dough filling. These sweet treats are perfect for breakfast, brunch, or as a fun dessert.

Ingredients

  1. Refrigerated croissant dough (one can, typically 8 croissants)
  2. Cookie dough (store-bought or homemade)
  3. Butter (melted)
  4. Cinnamon sugar (optional, for dusting)
  5. Powdered sugar (optional, for drizzling)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  1. Roll out the croissant dough on a parchment-lined baking sheet. If using store-bought dough, separate it into individual triangles as per the package instructions.
  2. Place a small spoonful of cookie dough at the wider end of each croissant triangle. Don’t overstuff, as the dough will spread when baking.
  3. Starting from the wider end, roll the croissant up towards the tip, encasing the cookie dough inside.
  4. Brush the tops of each croissant with melted butter. Optionally, sprinkle cinnamon sugar on top for an extra touch of flavor.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until the croissants are golden brown and the cookie dough is fully cooked inside.
  6. Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly. For an extra touch, drizzle with powdered sugar before serving.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  1. Store leftover croissants in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
  2. These croissants can be frozen for up to 1 month. Thaw and reheat before serving.
  3. For a richer flavor, try filling with Nutella, jam, or cream cheese instead of cookie dough.
  4. Don’t overstuff the croissants to prevent cookie dough from spilling out.
