- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add cola, oil, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth and combined.
- Gently fold in the cherry pie filling.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- While the cake is cooling slightly, prepare the glaze: In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter with cola and cocoa powder.
- Remove from heat and whisk in powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth.
- Pour the warm glaze evenly over the cake. Let cool before slicing and serving.
