Ingredients
Dry Ingredients
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
Wet Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2-3 tablespoons Nutella
Other
- 1 Old El Paso Soft Taco flour tortilla
Instructions
- Mix Cinnamon Sugar: In a small bowl, combine the granulated sugar and cinnamon thoroughly to create the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Heat Skillet and Butter: Place a medium skillet over medium heat and add the butter, allowing it to melt and coat the pan evenly.
- Prepare Quesadilla: Spread 2 to 3 tablespoons of Nutella evenly over half of the flour tortilla. Fold the other half over the Nutella to form a half-circle quesadilla.
- Cook Quesadilla: Place the folded quesadilla in the hot skillet. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes until the bottom is golden and crisp, then carefully flip it and cook another 1 to 2 minutes to warm the Nutella inside and crisp the other side.
- Serve: Remove the quesadilla from the skillet and transfer it to a plate. Immediately sprinkle generously with the prepared cinnamon sugar mixture. Slice the quesadilla in half and enjoy while warm. Save any leftover cinnamon sugar for future use.
Notes
- Use a medium skillet to ensure even heat distribution for melting the Nutella without burning the tortilla.
- You can adjust the quantity of Nutella according to your preference for sweetness and richness.
- Be careful when flipping the quesadilla to keep the filling from spilling out.
- Leftover cinnamon sugar can be stored in an airtight container for future recipes like toast, oatmeal, or baked goods.
