Description

Cinnamon Apple Bread is a moist and tender quick bread filled with chunks of fresh apple and warm cinnamon flavor. With its golden crust and sweet aroma, it’s perfect for breakfast, snacking, or dessert.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk or buttermilk
  • 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted (or oil)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups apples, peeled and chopped
  • Optional: 2 tablespoons cinnamon-sugar for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a standard loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, sugar, brown sugar, milk, melted butter, and vanilla until well combined.
  4. Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in the chopped apples.
  5. Optional: Pour half the batter into the prepared loaf pan, sprinkle with half the cinnamon-sugar topping, add the remaining batter, and top with more cinnamon-sugar.
  6. Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Slice and serve once fully cooled.

Notes

  • Use firm apples like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp for best texture.
  • Don’t overmix the batter to avoid a dense loaf.
  • Let the bread cool completely before slicing for clean cuts.
  • Store tightly wrapped at room temp or freeze for longer storage.
