Ingredients
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 6 oz semi-sweet or dark chocolate, chopped (or chocolate chips)
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt (optional)
- Optional toppings: chocolate shavings, crushed peanuts, whipped cream
Instructions
In a heatproof bowl, melt the chocolate using a microwave in 30-second intervals or a double boiler. Stir until smooth and let cool slightly.
- In a separate mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Reserve some whipped cream for topping, if desired.
- In another bowl, mix peanut butter, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and salt (if using) until smooth.
- Stir the melted chocolate into the peanut butter mixture until fully combined and smooth.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the chocolate-peanut butter mixture in batches until light and fluffy.
- Spoon the mousse into serving glasses or ramekins.
- Chill for 1–2 hours until set.
- Before serving, top with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, or crushed peanuts as desired.

- You can prepare the mousse up to a day in advance for convenience.
