Description

Chocolate Peanut Butter Blondie-Brownie Bars are a rich and indulgent dessert featuring layered fudgy brownies, chewy blondies, and a creamy peanut butter swirl. They’re sweet, salty, and packed with flavor in every bite.

Ingredients

    1. For the brownie layer:
    2. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
    3. 1 cup granulated sugar
    4. 2 large eggs
    5. 1 tsp vanilla extract
    6. 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
    7. 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
    8. 1/4 tsp salt

    1. For the blondie layer:
    2. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
    3. 1 cup brown sugar
    4. 1 large egg
    5. 1 tsp vanilla extract
    6. 1 cup all-purpose flour
    7. 1/2 tsp baking powder
    8. 1/4 tsp salt

  1. For the swirl:
  2. 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

  1. In a bowl, prepare the brownie batter by whisking together melted butter, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Stir in flour, cocoa powder, and salt until smooth. Set aside.
  2. In another bowl, make the blondie batter by mixing melted butter, brown sugar, egg, and vanilla. Add flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until just combined.
  3. Spread the brownie batter evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  4. Spoon the blondie batter in dollops over the brownie layer and gently spread to partially cover.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of peanut butter over the surface. Use a knife or skewer to swirl the layers together.
  6. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  7. Cool completely in the pan before slicing into bars.

Notes

  • Let the bars cool fully before cutting for clean slices.
  • Use natural peanut butter only if it’s well stirred and not too oily.
  • Add espresso powder to enhance chocolate flavor.
  • For thicker bars, bake in a 9×9-inch pan and adjust baking time.
  • Top with flaky sea salt or melted chocolate for a gourmet finish.
