Ingredients

  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • Juice of 1 lime

For Serving:

  • 8 small corn or flour tortillas, warmed
  • ½ cup diced tomatoes
  • ½ cup shredded lettuce or cabbage
  • ½ cup crumbled queso fresco (or shredded cheddar cheese)
  • ¼ cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • ½ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • Lime wedges, for serving

Instructions

Cook the Chicken:

  1. In a bowl, mix olive oil, chili powder, cumin, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Coat the chicken evenly with the seasoning.

Pan-Seared Method:

  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Cook the chicken for 5-6 minutes per side, until cooked through (internal temp 165°F/75°C).

Grilled Method:

  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat.

  2. Cook the chicken for 5-7 minutes per side.
