Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
 - Salt and pepper, to taste
 - 1 cup all-purpose flour
 - 2 large eggs, beaten
 - 1 ½ cups breadcrumbs (preferably Italian-style)
 - 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
 - 2 cups marinara sauce
 - 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
 - 2 tablespoons olive oil
 - Fresh basil leaves, for garnish (optional)

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
 - Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
 - Set up a breading station with flour in one shallow dish, beaten eggs in another, and breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan cheese in a third.
 - Dredge each chicken breast in the flour, dip it into the eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture. Press the breadcrumbs onto the chicken to ensure it sticks.
 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until golden brown and crispy. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish.
 - Spoon marinara sauce over each chicken breast, then sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
 - Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is fully cooked and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
 - Garnish with fresh basil, if desired, and serve immediately.

Notes
- For a healthier version, try baking the chicken instead of frying.
 - You can make this dish gluten-free by using gluten-free breadcrumbs and flour.
 - For a vegan version, use plant-based chicken and cheese substitutes.
 - Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days. Reheat in the oven for 10-15 minutes to retain crispiness.
