Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1 cup marinara sauce (store-bought or homemade)

1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon dried basil

1 teaspoon dried oregano

½ teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil

Fresh basil or parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • Season chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, basil, and oregano.

  • Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and sear 4–5 minutes per side until golden (not fully cooked). Remove from skillet.
