Description

A handheld version of the classic Caesar salad, combining grilled chicken, crisp lettuce, Parmesan cheese, Caesar dressing, and croutons in a soft tortilla wrap.


Ingredients

  1. 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
    1 tablespoon olive oil
    Salt and pepper, to taste
    1 cup Romaine lettuce, chopped
    1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
    1/2 cup Caesar dressing (store-bought or homemade)
    1/4 cup croutons, crushed
    4 large flour tortillas

Instructions

Season the chicken breasts with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Heat a grill pan or regular pan over medium-high heat and cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and no longer pink in the center. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing it into thin strips.

  1. While the chicken is cooking, chop the Romaine lettuce and crush the croutons.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the chopped lettuce with Caesar dressing and grated Parmesan cheese. Add the crushed croutons and gently mix.
  3. Lay the tortillas flat and place the Caesar salad mixture in the center of each one. Add the sliced chicken on top.
  4. Fold in the sides of the tortilla, then roll it up tightly to form a wrap.
  5. Slice the wrap in half and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a spicier twist, add a dash of hot sauce or red pepper flakes to the dressing.
  • If you prefer a healthier version, substitute the flour tortilla with a whole wheat or spinach wrap.
  • For a vegetarian version, skip the chicken and use roasted chickpeas or grilled tofu as the protein.
  • To prevent sogginess, keep the dressing separate and add it just before serving.
