Ingredients
2 chicken breasts, thinly sliced
4 cups cabbage, shredded
1 medium onion, sliced
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce (optional)
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp ginger, grated or ground
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tbsp green onions, chopped (optional)
1 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
-
Heat olive oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
-
Add the sliced chicken to the pan and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes. Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
-
In the same pan, add the onion and cook for about 2 minutes until slightly softened. Add the garlic and grated ginger, and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
-
Add the shredded cabbage to the pan and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes, or until it begins to soften but still retains some crunch.
-
Return the chicken to the pan with the cabbage and onion. Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), and sesame oil. Stir well to coat everything in the sauce and cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
-
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
-
Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds if desired, and serve immediately.
