Ingredients

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or chopped

4 cups broccoli florets, steamed

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

½ cup cream cheese, softened

½ cup heavy cream

½ cup mayonnaise

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper, to taste

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon olive oil (for greasing the baking dish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with olive oil.

  2. Prepare the Sauce:
In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, heavy cream, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth and well-combined.

  3. Assemble the Dish:
Layer the cooked chicken and steamed broccoli in the prepared baking dish. Pour the cream sauce over the top and mix everything together until evenly distributed.

  4. Top with Cheese:
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese and grated Parmesan cheese on top of the casserole.

  5. Bake:
Bake the casserole in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges are slightly golden.

  6. Serve:
Let the bake cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Cheese Variations: Swap cheddar cheese for mozzarella, Monterey Jack, or Swiss for different flavors.

  • Additional Veggies: Feel free to add cauliflower, spinach, or bell peppers for extra texture and nutrition.

  • Low-Carb Version: Ensure you’re using full-fat cream cheese, heavy cream, and avoid breadcrumbs to keep this dish keto-friendly.

  • Crispy Topping: Add a crunchy finish by sprinkling crushed pork rinds or low-carb breadcrumbs on top before baking.
